MGM Studios

MGM studios is a great park to visit with all of its' attractions based on MGM films and shows.

As with all parks we recommend that you get your tickets before you arrive and try to arrive early.  When you get to the park you'll want to get straight to it rather than queue to get in.

Plan what you want to do before you arrive.  This will depend on the age group of your party.  The brits guide (see left) is good for this as it the TiggerWoods site - taking you through each land in turn explaining the main attractions.  Use their free Planning Guide and Planning grid if you wish. 

There are a number of headline attractions at MGM.  We'll list the main ones here but check out the TiggerWoods page or head off to Disneys own page for more details.  The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Aerosmiths' Rock n Roller Coaster are 2 of the best rides and they are close to each other.  Grab a fast track ticket for one and ride the other.  In the not to be missed category are Muppet 3D, Backlot Tour, Indiana Jones, Star Tours and ABC Sounds Dangerous.

Plan to stay for Fantasmic, a laser, fireworks extravaganza starring Mickey and many of the characters from Disney films.  If you prefer not to queue for this popular show eat at one of the designated restaurants such as Hollywood and Vine and you can sneak in the back way with an official pass.
